Who I am

This portfolio (UX Meas Portfolio, hosted at uxmeas.com) is run by Pheak Meas, an independent product designer based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I am the data controller for any data processed through this site.

What I collect

This portfolio collects minimal data. Analytics tools help me understand how visitors interact with the site. With your consent, this includes:

• Pages visited and time on each page
• Device type and browser
• Approximate geographic region (city / country level)
• Referral source (which site or search you arrived from)
• Which projects, screens, design notes and portfolio slides you open, and whether you download the portfolio PDF or click an email or LinkedIn link (never the text of a note or message)

Before page addresses are sent to Google Analytics, they are trimmed: anything after a question mark, other than campaign tags, and anything after a # is removed. Your IP address is sent to Google with each analytics request. Google says it uses it to estimate your approximate location, and that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store it.

What I don't collect

• I don't collect names, email addresses, or personal information unless you explicitly send me an email
• I don't run advertising trackers
• I don't sell or share visitor data with third parties beyond the analytics processors listed below
• I don't run user accounts on this portfolio — there's nothing to log into

Cookies

This portfolio uses only analytics cookies, and only after you grant consent via the cookie banner. See the Cookie Policy for the full list, retention windows, and how to withdraw consent.

Third-party services I use

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — Usage analytics. Loaded only after analytics consent is granted. Advertising and personalization features are turned off. Google's Privacy Policy
• Microsoft Clarity — Session replay and heatmaps. Not currently active on this site. If I turn it on, I'll update this policy and ask for your consent again. Microsoft's Privacy Statement
• Fonts — Served from this site. No font service is contacted.
• Cloudflare Pages — Hosting and CDN. Cloudflare's Privacy Policy

Data retention

Google Analytics 4 keeps event-level data for the retention period set in the Analytics property (Google offers 2 or 14 months), then deletes it. Its cookies expire after 2 years. I do not keep any separate databases or user records. Your consent choice is stored in your browser, and you're asked again after 12 months or when this policy changes materially.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as Canada's PIPEDA or the EU's GDPR may give you the right to:

• Access the data held about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for analytics at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a regulator (Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, your EU member state's DPA, or your state Attorney General)

You can manage your analytics consent at any time using the cookie banner or the cookie settings button at the bottom of the page. Declining keeps Google Analytics from loading. Withdrawing consent later stops it and deletes its cookies from this site.

International transfers

Google is US-based, and analytics data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. Google states that it uses safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.

Children's privacy

This portfolio is a general-audience site intended for adult visitors (recruiters, hiring managers, designers, founders). I do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the change. Substantive changes will be summarized below this paragraph for 30 days after they take effect.

October 2, 2026: Google Analytics now loads only after you accept analytics. Microsoft Clarity is no longer active. Fonts are served from this site instead of Google Fonts. Consent choices are asked again after 12 months.
